The Golden Age of the Jews of Al-Andalus, a powerful new immersive AR/VR project exhibition that explores one of the most extraordinary periods in Jewish history, has been nominated for a 2025 AWE Auggie Award, and it is one of the top honors in the augmented and virtual reality industry.
The exhibition transport viewers to medieval Spain, a time when Jewish coexisted and flourished intellectually, artistically, and spiritually. Through cutting-edge extended reality (XR) technology, audiences can step into the world of luminaries through AI Avatar Maimonides and experiencing the vibrancy and complexity of Jewish life in Al-Andalus. This award nomination is a major milestone in the Jewish storytelling digital age.
