Sculptures Grace the Scharlin Patio

The metal sculptures displayed in the Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies’ patio were generously donated by the Scharlin Family.

Originally purchased as miniature artworks, these sculptures were later reimagined and crafted in metal by a professional sculptor as part of the Scharlin Family's gift to the Center. This donation was made in conjunction with the construction of The Scharlin Patio, an outdoor space that enhances the Center’s environment for learning, reflection, and community engagement. The Scharlin Family’s contribution reflects a deep commitment to the Jewish culture, education, and the arts, and their kindness and support serves as inspiration for all stakeholders.
