Treister, Kenneth

Kenneth Treister, best known for the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach, generously donated his “Eighth Day Creation” series to the Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies, University of Miami.

Treister’s vibrant, symbolic works invite reflection on creation, nature, and spiritual continuity. With his signature blend of color and form, he explores the idea of an ongoing creative process beyond the traditional seven days. These pieces of art transform the center’s classroom into a contemplative space, aligning with the Miller Center’s mission to inspire education, and dialogue through art.
